Me: “Mackenzie, please take your foot off Caitlyn’s head.”
Mackenzie: “Why?”
Me: “Say, ‘Ok Mama’ and obey.”
Mackenzie, in one breath as she reluctantly removes her foot from its rest on Caitlyn’s forehead: “Ok Mama, WHY?”
Me: “You wouldn’t like someone else to put their foot on your head, so you shouldn’t do that to your sister.”
Mackenzie, puzzled: “Why wouldn’t I like someone else to put their foot on my head?”

hahahaha! well, some people really like the deep pressure sensation! miles puts my hands on his head and orders me to squeeze pretty frequently :-p as such, it’s hard to explain why baby julian probably does not like having his head stepped on/squeezed.

Our little boy tries to play with his little sister as rough as I play with him; screaming ensues.

Ah ha ha ha ha! That Mackenzie is a clever little one, you have to hand it to her…
Oh, I get so sick of the “Why?” questions all day. I think one of these days I should count how many times in the day Reese asks “Why?”

Thank you so much for the beautiful comment you just left on my blog – it really touched my heart. I agree with you that my mom definitely has kept the promise she made to me in the hospital. She is wonderful and I’m so blessed to have her as my mom! I’m glad that you have found my blog and have enjoyed reading my story. Have a wonderful day! – Heather
